GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The church of Our Lady of the Pillar is a basilica located in the district of Recoleta in the city of Buenos Aires. Its construction - that concluded in the year 1732 - is due to the Aragonese patron Juan de Narbona. Since the 19th century, it is one of the most visited parishes of the city of Buenos Aires and the second oldest temple of the city. This colonial church features ornate altars & a small museum for religious art.
