GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The first station when you climb up the trail is Morro da Urca, where you have a spectacular view over Botafogo, Flamengo, Centro, the long bridge joining Niteroi and Rio de Janeiro, other big peaks like Dois Irmãos, Pedra da Gavea, Corcovado, Bico do Papagaio, Pico da Tijuca and many more.

Green-Visiting

One of the top attractions in Rio, along with the Corcovado (and its giant Christ statue) and the Copacabana/Ipanema beach combo. The views are stunning, the granite peak is a natural wonder in itself, and everything is made even funnier by cute little monkeys begging for food.
