INDEPENDENCE SQUARE

Independence square, also known as Black Star Square, is a site which contains monuments to Ghana's independence struggle, including the Independence Arch, Black Star Gate, and the Liberation Day Monument. It also hosts all major national public gatherings and national festivals.

JAMESTOWN

Located directly east of the Korle Lagoon, Jamestown and Usshertown are the oldest districts in the city of Accra, and emerged as communities around the 17th century British James Fort and Ussher Fort on the Gulf of Guinea coast.

Kokrobite is a beach on the Ghanaian Coastal Plain. It is known for traditional sea fishing, its white-sand beaches and its lively nightlife.

Labadi Beach, also known as La Pleasure Beach, is the busiest beach on Ghana's coast. It is one of Accra's beaches and is maintained by the local hotels.
