The markets and bazaars in Istanbul are scattered all over the city. The most famous ones (for tourists) are the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Spices Bazaar. Other smaller markets sell consumer goods for locals.

GRAND BAZAAR

The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world, with 61 covered streets and over 4,000 shops attracting between 250,000 and 400,000 visitors per day.

SPICE (EGYPTIAN) BAZAAR

The Spice Bazaar is one of the largest bazaars in Istanbul. Located in the Eminönü quarter of the Fatih district, it is the most famous covered shopping complex after the Grand Bazaar.
