Baños de Agua Santa is located in the Tungurahua province, 180 km from the city of Quito. It boasts El Pailón del Diablo and Agoyán, dramatic waterfalls on the Río Pastaza.

BASILICA REINA DEL ROSARIO DE AGUA SANTA

The Basilica Reina del Rosario de Agua Santa is located in the Central Plaza of the city of Baños, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and the volcano Tungurahua. Inside is a collection of murals depicting local miracles attributed to the patroness of the city.

Baños is known for its access to trails on the active Tungurahua volcano, and for its mineral-rich hot springs, waterfalls, and rivers - often referred to as the "Gateway to the Amazon." The town’s full name is Baños de Agua Santa, “Baths of Sacred Water.”
