GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The historical center of Sanur has many temples, but the most notable one is called the Prasati Blanjong. It contains an ancient inscription on a stone pillar, telling of a Javanese king who visited Bali in the 10th century and installed what was probably Bali's first formal government.
