BUND

The Bund or Waitan is a waterfront area in central Shanghai, centering on a section of Zhongshan Road within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in the eastern part of the Huangpu District. The area along the river faces the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui in the Pudong District. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. Building heights are restricted in this historical area.

A temple located in Shanghai's old quarter, dedicated to Guan Yu, a general during the Han dynasty.

FUXING PARK

Fuxing Park is located in the former French Concession of Shanghai, in the Luwan District near Nanchang Road; the main entrance is at the cross street of Fuxingzhong Road and Chongqingnan Road. It was once the largest park in Shanghai.

NANJING ROAD

Nanjing Road is the main shopping street of Shanghai, and is therefore one of the world's busiest shopping streets. The street is named after the city of Nanjing, capital of the Jiangsu province neighbouring Shanghai.

PEOPLE'S SQUARE

People's Square is a large public square in the Huangpu District of Shanghai. It is south of Nanjing Road (West) and north of Huaihai Road (East). It is also the site of the Shanghai's municipal government headquarters, and is used as the standard reference point for measurement of distances in the Shanghai municipality.

Tianzifang or Tianzi Fang is a touristic arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated traditional residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai. It is now home to boutique shops, bars and restaurants.

The Tongji University, colloquially known as Tongji, is a comprehensive university located in Shanghai. Established in 1907 by the German government, Tongji is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China.

ZHAO JIA LOU

Zhao Jia Lu is an ancient water town located in a suburb of Shanghai, with a history of more than 1700 years. The bridges were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The old town is thoroughly connected by 36 delicate spans in different shapes and styles, from wooden to stone to marble.

ZONGHSAN PARK

Zhongshan Park is a public park in the city of Shanghai, and boasts a large collection of trees and flowers. The park is located in the Changning District: there is a large shopping mall in the skyscraper "Cloud Nine", just southwest of the park.
