Jomtien or Jomtien Beach is a town on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand about 165 km south-east of Bangkok, and just 3 km south of Pattaya. It is much quieter than Pattaya beach, despite the presence of many high-rise condominiums, beach side hotels, bars and restaurants.
