The Azerbaijan's Pavilion's theme was ""Ornamentation"", the act of adding details to an object in order to beautify it. In particular, it showcased Antoni Tàpies’ ‘Eye’, his way of perceiving things, of looking around himself without limits of time and space, striving for answers about the Universe, human nature, art, and the mystery of life.
