DEVRENT VALLEY - PASABAGLARI

Devrent Valley, which is also known as Imaginary Valley, reveals many different rock formations and is only a 10-minute drive from Goreme. The small fairy chimneys with twin and even triple rock caps in the nearby Pasabaglari valley (also known as Monk valley) form a lunar landscape.

ESENTEPE PANORAMA

Esentepe is a view point that shows off a panoramic view of the landscape of Cappadocia.

GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM

The Goreme Open Air Museum (also known as Rock Churches) features Byzantine ancient rock-carved churches, wall paintings and frescoes.

KAYMAKLI UNDERGROUND CITY

The Kaymakli Underground City is contained within the citadel of Kaymakli, in the Central Anatolia Region of Turkey. The tunnels are lower, narrower, and more steeply inclined. Of the four floors open to tourists, each space is organized around ventilation shafts.

NEVSEHIR

Nevşehir is a city in central Turkey, and a transit point in the overland trips to Capaddocia. According to the 2010 census, the population of the district is 117,890 of which 85,634 live in the city itself.

PIGEON VALLEY

Güvercinlik (also known as Pigeon Valley) is located between Göreme and Uçhisar. The path through the valley offers views of the natural cliffs and the man-made caves and pigeon houses carved straight into the rock formations.

ROSE VALLEY

Rose Valley is a large valley located between Goreme and the Cavusin village. It is divided into many smaller valleys: Gulludere, Kizilcukur, Meskendir and Zindanonu. The valley gets its name from the rose-colored rock that varies in hue and intensity depending on time of day, season and weather conditions.

URGUP

Ürgüp is a town in the Nevşehir Province, often used as a starting point to visit Cappadocia.
