GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world, on a site measuring 162.6 hectares. It was designated as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1992.

The Bakan temple is located inside the Angkor Wat complex, on a plain that was a former worship place of the king. The temple is surrounded by two ramparts.
